Becky Saunders, a sixth grader at Kyrene Altadena Middle School, was Junior Achievement’s Young Entrepreneur Of The Year in 2003.

Eleven-year-old Becky Saunders started Becky's Pet Sitting Service, with one client two years ago and has grown it to about 12 clients and 75 newsletter recipients in her Phoenix neighborhood.

She hired her older sister Tricia as an employee and they watch cats, dogs, lizards and guinea pigs.

Becky dreams of becoming a veterinarian. She donates a portion of her company profits to the Arizona Animal Welfare League, Arizona’s oldest and largest no-kill shelter
