Home Improvement Contractors Team up with HomeTown HomeTeam and Driver Jaques Lazier at This Year's Indianapolis 500
Consumers seeking contractors and home service specialists look to HomeTown HomeTeam's contractor team members
HomeTown HomeTeam (HTHT), an online directory covering over 180 home improvement categories that enables consumers nationwide to find local contractors, announced today that it is launching its new racing program www.contractorsracing.com with driver Jaques Lazier. Contractors can be a part of Jaques Lazier's Indianapolis 500 effort and gain exposure to race fans about their companies' products and services. Jaques, raised in a contractor's family and a contractor by trade, is racing in this year's Indianapolis 500 and will be featuring the www.contractorsracing.com logo on his helmet and uniform.
"This is a great tool for consumers to find pre-screened contractors," says Lazier. "Being a contractor myself, I know how difficult it is to find good sub contractors for the work we do for our customers. This service is very valuable to consumers, as well as very beneficial for contractors who participate. Not only will they be able to be a part of a race team but get new customers at the same time."
According to Joe Truscelli, CEO of HTHT, anyone in the home improvement industry is eligible to join. "Contractors can actually sign up for a listing in the directory to become part of the race team. When race fans search www.contractorsracing.com for home improvement services, they will find the online profile for each contractor organized by zip code and specialty," explains Truscelli. "If a match isn't made, HTHT will continue to search other networks for the consumer for free."
A flat fee of $29.95 covers the contractor's registration costs. Each contractor or home improvement specialist receives a Jaques Lazier Contractors Racing hat, an I.D. card showing membership in the "HomeTown HomeTeam" Contractors Racing program, and an online profile describing individual or company capabilities. A modest monthly fee of $9.95 covers updates and administration of the team; there are no additional per lead fees, and consumers search for free.
"Motor sports represent a great vehicle for our contractor team members to promote their services and provide consumers with a valuable service for finding pre-screened home improvement help when needed," continues Truscelli. "This is just a start of our motor sports involvement. As membership grows, so will our participation in programs like Indy, NASCAR and NHRA. Our goal is to become the most recognized name in the home improvement services industry and the number one resource for locating qualified contractors in your hometown."
