Looks like Gary Busey's going to keep his ocean view.
The 60-year-old actor has finally settled a long-running dispute with his landlord over the $6,000-per-month Malibu hillside home he's been living in for the past 10 years. Busey had refused to pay any rent until the landlord, Robert Wesson, did some home-improvement projects.
Wesson sued Busey to collect $52,000 in unpaid rent.

Cleveland Leading the Way in the Home Improvement Industry
PRO Will Continue the Challenge
CLEVELAND, Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Cleveland Chapter of the National
Association of the Remodeling Industry has officially become the Professional
Remodelers of Ohio (PRO). This statewide organization, headquartered in
Cleveland, will continue to be the voice of the rapidly growing home
improvement industry in Ohio.
"The name has changed, but the mission remains the same -- lift the
standards and professionalize the home improvement industry, while acting as
an ally to consumers and homeowners," said Richard Kasunic Jr., President of
the Professional Remodelers of Ohio (PRO), formerly the Greater Cleveland
Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
Kasunic added that the new organization would be able to offer stronger
programs and better services in an industry that plays an important role in
our country's economy. The Harvard Joint Study on Housing estimates $214
billion dollars a year, with Ohio's share at $8 billion.
"The housing stock in the Greater Cleveland area and across the state
continues to age and the home improvement industry may well be the leading
growth industry for jobs in Ohio," said Kasunic, who plans to position PRO as
the state's "Remodeling Source." Kasunic outlined a five-point plan for the
new organization:
- Statewide registration of home improvement contractors to
professionalize the industry
- Establishing schools and/or apprentice programs to encourage careers in
the residential remodeling industry
- A voice in the legislative process for members of the remodeling
industry
- Contractor education & state certification
- A referral service for homeowners with a mediation and grievance
procedure
PRO is a non-profit organization where members pledge to observe and honor
a strict code of ethics and is dedicated to the professionalism and integrity
of the remodeling industry. The organization is gearing up for its annual
winter show at the IX Center, which will be called the Professional Home
Improvement Show, presented by the Professional Remodelers of Ohio, formerly
NARI.
